Re: Hidden Hitch installed on 2007 Camry XLE
The hitch should fit the SE. The only option for selecting a hitch is if you have a hybrid or not. Reese, Hidden Hitch, and Draw-Tite are all owned by Cequent Towing Products. I installed a Reese on mine, and I dont think there will be a difference between names. You can see pics of what it looks like installed from dave1xyx that he attached further down in this post. For the wiring, it has changed from before. They used to be that you had to splice into the original wires on the car. Now the harnesses have plugs on them. You unplug the cables going to the rear lights, plug the harness in first, and then plug your lights back into the harness. It is easy to install and you can do it yourself. The kit itself only cost $60 CDN. I installed both the hitch and the wiring, and it is not complicated at all.
I posted late, so you may have already made a decision. Good luck.
