2007 Camry SE Seat belt buzzer

i was wondering if anyone knows how to disable the seat belt buzzer without going to the dealership. not cutting any wires but the procedure they use

I have a 2007 XLE with the same irritating buzzer. A search on the Internet showed a procedure that worked on the '05 Avalon to disable it, but I couldn't get it to work on my Camry.

there has gottta be a similar procedure for the camry but havent had any luck on the web. im trying to get the inside from someone at the dealership but not holding my breath for them

I agree - the 2007 Camry seatbelt buzzer is the most obnoxious I have had in all the cars I have ever owned or been in. I too always use my belt, but not on the driveway where I have to get out to open and close a gate. Hopefully Toyota will see the frustration of its customers and modify the problem. Here is me holding my breath... !

You can take them to the dealership and have it turned off. I had mine turned off. Shouldn't be a problem.

I'll be taking my car into the dealer for a routine oil change pretty soon...I'll put this on my list and see if I can watch them...the dealer's fairly nice about letting you watch if you ask nicely....

For the record...I think it's better than those cars that have the synth voice "...your door is ajar..."! Not much mind you.

I had an '06 Camry as a rental... the buzzer begged the hell out of me!

the seatbelt buzzer on the new Camry will go away after 3 minutes. but it gets more annoying before it decides to give up.
