07 Camry V6 - K&N Air Filter Now Available

Last nite I rcv'd an email from K&N to inform me that they (finially) have released a replacement air filter for the 2007 Camry 3.5L V6!

The stock number is 33-2326

I have no idea about the cost but would expect it to be in the same range as their other replacement air filters (around $30USD).

Let the hunt begin!!!!!!!!!

Got the filter on Saturday and installed it on Sunday!

No problems and it fit like a glove (as expected)!

I'll monitor the MPG and see if there are any changes.

HEY...I noticed that there's what appears to be a "filter" in the upper portion of the assembly...WHAT'S THIS? Is this something else that will eventually need to be replaced?

The answer to that question lies in where you buy it. I would suggest you look on-line as the places that I would have normally walked into wanted something in the $50USD range...I bought it online for alot less...alot!

It is a charcoal device that captures evaporative emissions from fuel that may be in the engine when it is shut off and find it's way back up the intake tube when it evaporates.It is not a restriction and should not be removed,and should not require any service for the life of the vehicle.

Removing that charcoal filter on my Tundra made a difference. Isn't that filter also Cali emissions specific so they just put it on all there cars????

Also, your last statement...are you referring to the charcoal or K&N filter?
