Hey there,
I'm noticing quite a few members from the BC interior! Can we get a list together? Reply to this thread! Perhaps a GTG may be in order??
I am from Kamloops.

Did all you guys buy your trucks from Sun Country?
I am just planning a blast of sh*& for my salesperson there. "Nicer way to buy a car" my ***. Nicer way to screw me and knock off $2000 on the value of my $50,000 truck in one blow!

So I called my salesperson, she had no answers on the rebate BS. She got her manager to call, he said that they had "gone to bat" with Toyota over the issue to no avail and that Toyota told him tough. I am seriously considering getting in on the class action train. Lawyers and that stuff turn my stomach but how else are these big companies going to treat us Canadians fairly? I told the manager at the end that I should have bought my truck in the states like I planned and that was the end of the conversation. I would have saved about $5000 after it was said and done in Washington.
I just signed up I live in Brock and drive a silver reg cab. Love the truck so far. I have put a TRD swaybar on and it helped with the massive lean I was getting in the corners.
I work with a guy who bought his in Vernon, fully loaded except they dont bother to put in blockheaters like they do at Sun Country. Hes also had his steering box replaced, it was leaking after a couple thousand k's.
Darren
I was through Kelowna on the weekend in my Pyrite Mica 07 Tundra! Stayed from Fri to Sunday in Kelowna at the Fairfield Marriott on Powick St. I saw a couple 07+ Tundra's passing in the other direction.
Sanosuke did you enjoy coming west on hwy 1? Some good twisties to play on eh?

I guess it is safe for me to add my name to this thread. I had to wait until Transport Canada changed the rules. Anyway, 2008 Tundras and Tacomas are now admissible to be imported from the U.S.
I picked up the Tundra I had ordered in the U.S. on November 16th. I arrived at the Canadian border and declared the truck on Nov. 22nd. From Nov. 22nd until today this truck had been sitting in my driveway waiting for Transport Canada to change the rules on engine immobilizers which happened a couple of days ago.
Today I went to Canadian Tire and had both the Federal and Provincial inspections completed, then over to ICBC to get the Tundra registered. That is completed and I now have my Tundra registered and titled in Canada. I can now add that to "My Garage".
I'm originally from Saskatchewan but now retired in Keremeos and am certainly enjoying my Tundra.

Way to go there on the import!!! Please do me a favour and do not tell me how much you paid....
I just helped a buddy bring one in and he got the EXACT same truck as me for $12k less.
I'll be watching out for you, I'm in Penticton for the next two days then off to the wet coast on Christmas day via Manning Pk.

OK, but I would like to mention that the 20" wheels didn't come standard on the Limited models in the U.S. The 20" wheels were a $920.00 option in the U.S. This made it convenient for me, because had I bought in Canada I would have wanted the 20" wheels changed out for 18" wheels. I noticed that you had that done with yours.
