I had a bit of an accident over the weekend and destroyed my tailgate.
My local dealer wants $1000.00 for just an unpainted shell. I'm doing a wrecker search today too. Any ideas on where I might find one would be much appreciated. Thks.

ebay or the US. $1,000?? That's a lot and the cost to paint on top of that. . . It would be easy to switch out and you avoid paying GST etc if you have it done in NY state. I'd call a few dealers in Buffalo or Fort Erie and take a drive to Niagara falls, make a day trip out of it. But don't forget your passport!

Thanks, that's what I will probably end up doing. I'm not in a hurray. The tailgate is more of a nuisance (to me) in the summer months.
