Smile Re: Canadian Members Check-In Here

Greetings All. I received my Blazing Blue metallic Yaris RS 3 door Hatch less than one month ago. Since that time I have added 2 JBL mid-range tweeters in the front doors, along with 2 - 6 and 1/2 inch Sony Xplod 3-ways to the doors, along with 2 - 6 x 9 Sony 4 way Xplod speakers in the rear quarter panels. All original speakers were removed of course. I also installed an Infinity Bass-Link sub where the spare used to be. The original Toyota radio is easily able to handle the additions, and the sound is excellent! I have also switched to Mobil 1 - 5-30W synthetic oil, installed a battery maintainer and oil pan heater. Happy motoring!. Love this car!! ....Demijohn

Hello to fellow Ontarians!

I've posted a few times in the FJ forums, but don't see any Cruiser owners here yet. Looking forward to any possible FJ Club being formed.
I'm in Georgetown, and like a previous poster, have switched to Toyota after 18 straight GM vehicles. Though it's too soon to say it's a permanent thing (only 2000 km so far), we've been very impressed and pleased with the initial quality and performance of our new FJ.

I'm very interested in any suggestions for accessories for the FJ Cruiser through suppliers here in Ontario. Every link I've pursued so far has been US-based, mainly in California. At the local car shop last week, their database didn't even contain the FJ Cruiser, though he did get me a price on a set of step pipes. What I want next, before the slush flies, is a decent set of stainless running boards, likely in black, similar to those in the 'C' package perhaps.

And if you're a current or former Georgetownian, make sure you look into our Georgetown Homecoming, a 3 day celebration of life in our town, July 27-29, 2007. (see www.georgetown2007.ca)

Welcome to the forum, lots of great people, with great ideas.

This is kinda off topic, but what is the name of the country bar near Georgetown?

Helo from Kelowna, BC. Had my 07 Taco DC for a whole week now. Great Truck. First order of business is to get an XM radio hardwired (no FM Mod) into this rig. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you're talking about the current bar/club, it's called Nashville North. Since its inception in the 60's it's been under several names- the Riviera, the WayJay, the Newfie Club etc.- but most of us remember it as the Riviera.

New FJ Cruiser from Quebec. I don't have much to say, I was only looking for a place to post and get rid of this annoying "you havent posted yet" message

Got my FJ just 12 days ago and love it. This is my 1st real 4x4 and I'm looking forward to taking it off road next summer. In the meantime I couldn't resist fooling around in a the snow.

Its amazing what 4wd can do. I've seen a few of them in the center of the highway on the way to Mont Tremblant, up on the guard rail.

I think they understood the traction to move forward, but didn't understand that the brakes work the same as a 2wd. lol.
