Here's your translation

Hello, I would like know the cost for delivery in France. thank you. Normally, I would not know, but I recently sold a machine to a lady in Monaco and the total with UPS was 400.

You are... 'DA MAN Tundra_Hick!

I actually tried several on-line translators, but they all kept coming back with a broken English translation, or they wanted a "fee" to have a professional translator do it! I kinda' got the gist of what was being said, but I wanted to be certain, before I asked the wrong question or something else stupid.

I don't know WHAT made me think of TS.com and it's Canadian Group, but I guess that just goes to show, this website offers a whole lot more depth than just advice on vehicles!

Thanks again Tundra_Hick, for taking the time to have your friend translate. And PLEASE thank your friend for me!

Dave

No problem, my friend was wondering where this quote came from, he said the online translator wouldn't work because the guy was using either slang or didn't know how to write.

Some things just don't translate properly using software because their intent is not clear.

Example:

well

The computer doesn't ask what kind of "well" you mean.

If it gave you examples like "well = hole in the ground for water" or "well = a state of healthiness" or "well? = a word used when something is expected"
