2003 Corolla A/C not working

I have had my compressor checked and it is fully charged and full of freon. We did a test and hard-wired the compressor and it blows cold air. But when I turn on the a/c from the inside using the controls, it does not turn on. Someone mentioned that maybe the switch or thermostat needs to be replaced, but we don't know where it is located. Can anyone help?

I had the same problem with my 2004. Everything worked one day, then nothing. I took it to "America's Service Station" and they said $315! They said it was the relay switch. I called Toyota and got a price on a Factory part and it was $75. For about $125 I could have had the dealer fix it! I refused the work at the other shop and stated that I wasn't going to pay that much to have a "fuse" replaced!! They agreed and charged me what the dealer would have. Now, the air is perfect and works great. They said there was a superceded part now?? Give it a shot it is about a 5 second part to replace! Hope it works. Thanks, Matt.
