Sparky!
Hey there...I just installed 4 Bosch +4 plat-tipped spark plugs in my 4-age Corolla engine. The first start up took longer than usual, with the starter seeming to want to quit before the engine was started. Once warmed up, the engine ran great, and I even felt alittle more pull going uphill. Nothing spectacular, just a bit. Then I cooled down the engine and started her again about an hour later and it started up instantly. Cooled down again, then about an hour and a half later, it was like just after installation- it seemed to take a while to ignite and start up. Is this normal for brand new plugs? They're platinum tipped, just as called for, and I cross referenced the part number, and it's good for the engine. Maybe they're just too new and need to be broken in? Any ideas? Thanks =]
And alittle off-topic, does anyone have any opinions or stories to share on different headlight bulb companies? Sylvania is a big one, and they have lots of offerings. But a previous post showed that the light is in fact only whiter, not brighter. Any thoughts? Fire away!
