Default Debadging???

I have heard the term debadging and would like a little clarification on it. Is it when you take all the emblems off of the vehicle? And why would you do it?

Sorry for the ignorance...

If you want the advertising (for Toyota) on your trunk lid, then leave the badges in place.
If you want to clean up the finished look of your ride, then take them off.

If the guy behind you doesn't know what kind of a car you are driving, then they probably aren't all that interested in knowing anyway.

Plus it's easier to clean and wax that part without having to go around all that needless chrome.

It's just a matter of personal taste.

Nope...they're held on by a kinda rubbery, stretchy adhesive material that comes off clean =]
