Can you post a photo of the horn or the electrical connector? Other Toyota models' horns will probably plug in but I'd like to see what your Corolla's looks like.

Here's what I replaced mine with. They were $9.99 at Harbor Freight. They will get someone's attention.

Was it a straight hook up or did you need to put in a relay ?

The air horns came with a relay. They only cost 9.95 but I see Harbor has raised the price to $14.99 now. I took out the screw on each side of the top of the grill and popped it out for easy access. The relay has four connections. Plug the horn wire into one, run one to the ground. Then one to the battery and another to the horn compressor. I didn't have to drill any holes. I mounted the compressor to the center brace where the hood latch is. There was already a hole there, and I mounted a horn pointing down on each side of the grill area where there were already holes.

The only thing else you need to buy is some wire at least 14 gauge, some crimp on ends for the wire and you need to put a fuse between the battery and the wire that goes to the compressor or connect the wire to an existing 30 amp fused circuit.

That definetly is an option........I know this is an opinion question, but do they sound cheezy? The last ones I put on a car (15 to 20 years ago) were loud but cheezy sounding...........on my 80 I put cadillac horns........they would scare you.

I installed one of these in my Corolla.

Wolo Bad Boy Air Horn

The only thing I had to do was run a ground wire, and a short extention for the factory horn wire. I also had to replace the 5 amp horn fuse with a 10 amp.

It really gets your attention now.

Oh yeah. With a distinctively European sound. It'll scare the living bejeezus out of anyone close by.

Well I did the horn last evening.....I applied the wolo bad boy to the corrolla............I used the motor cycle relay that came with it , to protect the cars wiring........That S.O.B. is loud , and it has a good sound to it. The wife was in the house 125 feet away and she promptly came out to inquire if that was her new horn?.......We are both pleasently pleased with it.......I utilized holes already there, with one just needing a slight widening. A good clean hook up.

Glad you like it. I'm thinking about DUAL Wolo Bad Boys for the Tundra (since I can't afford air horns right now).
