My 06 Corolla's (42k miles) check engine light came on so I pulled my code reader in and got P2716. I read an older thread on here that it was on TSB 2645-20 for corolla's and matrix for 05-07 models.
In my case the car would jerk when it shifted gears and seemed to get worse the more I drove it.
I took it to the dealership and about in 1/2 day they changed what needed to be changed. I saw the ticket for warranty and it was about $770. It's covered under warranty for 8 years/ 80,000 miles.
When you bring your car in to the dealership make sure your check engine light is on - don't erase your codes and clear the check engine light at home!
