Default What a difference a good tire makes!!

Just put on some Yokahama TRZ 205/60/15 tires on the corolla. Rated as an 80k mile tire. I traded in the oem tires for $25 each, and got these for $300 out the door.

Wow! I can't beleive the difference in handling. It is so more responsive, and it's quieter too.

On the freeway the car used to wander a little bit behind diesels and stuff. Not any more.
The specs show them as 24.7" tall, and the stockers were 24.5", but there's 1" more tread on the ground. They stick out as far as the hubcap & look a lot better.

Great mod.

I take it you put them on your 08, did it mess up the tpms? I have a 07 and want to replace the junky Bridgestone Insignia SE 200 tires.

No, they didn't break the sensors this time. They broke two of them on my tundra though.
As long as they don't break them, it will not mess up the TPMS.
