Question 2000 Corolla, replacement door handles?

Since I bought my little Toy at the tail end of 1999, I've had to replace the driver's inside door handle - meaning the part you open the door with - three times. Two were from wrecking yards, and one, in a fit of laziness, was the left side rear passenger one.

I'd sort of like to find a replacement - I assume aftermarket - that I don't have to replace quite so often. I'm in and out of the car rather frequently for work, and so it's going to see some use.

I found some metal ones for GMCs or something on a site, but haven't had any success finding this sort of thing for my corolla. Am I stuck getting a new one from my dealer?

I found some on ebay about a year ago. I ended up buying all 4. They were still plastic ones but they worked great!

If I remember correctly, the parts came from Texas. This was for a 98 corrolla (actually a chevy prizm) and I had no complaints. Hope this helps.
