Haytundra - basically identical mpg to ours. It's my wife's car used 95% in town. Bought brand new in October, it now has a whopping 3,200 miles!

Actually, I had to get'er in for service the very next day after I bought it. If you can believe it, the trac off black push button was missing on the dash besides the power adjustable side mirror button. It was listed on the invoice, missed not only at the built plant, but also missed twice at the dealer once being when unloaded from the truck and once before I took delivery for the pre-inspection. The dealer just popped one out of the 50 other Corolla's on the lot, cut a hole where the button goes in the plastic housing cutout area, and installed it (took 2-3 hours total). More of an inconvenience than anything else. Don't worry, the sales manager and service manager was informed by me very politely that day and they apologized endlessly like they should have. Then, on Saturday (2 days after delivery), I noticed the door scratches were still present in bright sunlight only and had to take it back in today to buff out the scratches that should have been dealt with and was noted on the pre-delivery notice to the prep dept. to get rid of before delivery as pointed out by me the first day I drove it last week before taking delivery.
So, actually, I had to get'er in now twice on 2 separate days and have only owned the vehicle 5 days now with 277 miles on it. Let's hope the trend does not continue for the 38 mpg I am getting on the first tank of gas will be halfway used for driving to and from the dealership. Get'er done! Toyota - oh what a feeling? Feeling of ????
Almost 22500 miles without issues other than this car has a magnet in the windshield for rocks. Got the 3rd rock chip in my windshield on my way to work this morning. I think this one will do it in and I'll have to get it replaced.
Other than that, no issues! I have an XRS though, so I'm only getting about 28 highway and 30/31 on the interstate. It really needs a 6th gear in the manual gearbox...
12,500 miles everything is working good although we have a horrible smell coming from the a/c vents when the air is first turned on. It only happens when its real humid out. I replaced the cabin air filter but have not taken any other action. Anybody else dealing with smelly A/C?

I get a pretty funky smell when it's hot out. Smells kinda moldy. I haven't really done anything about it though.
From what I understand from my Toyota mechanic buddy is that using the recirculating function a lot will induce the 'moldy' smell. Try to use it in recirc mode as little as possible. I imagine living in an area of high humidity just increases the problem.

Closing in on the first 15,000 mile service in the next few days,
the funky AC smell is gone seems to be much worse on humid days we dont use recirc and the drain line is not plugged
Very happy with the car everything is working great, has not used any oil or done anything weird looks like we will be getting many many years from this one.
Probably just update yearly unless we have any issues.
