Default 1998 Prizm, No dash lights or parking lights with headlights in on position.

Does anyone of you have a diagram of the dash lights, DRL ciruit, headlight circuit? For a 1998 Prizm (corolla)? I only have the one from a Haynes book and it does not show the dash sensor or DRL ciruits.

I just bought this car and I am working on it for my son.
The dash lights and parking lights do not come on until you start the car, there is about a 15 or 20 sec delay.
The head lights will come on with the car off, but no dash or parking lights.
With the car running driving lights come on, if you turn on the parking lights they will come on in about 15 or 20 seconds (headlights stay on).
If you then turn it to headlight position the head lights stay on but the dash and tail (side markers too) go out.
Headlights will switch to bright or normal.
Turning switch back to parking lights, headlights dash and side marker/tail lights come back on (headlights stay on).

Parking break is off.

I have changed the headlight/turn signal switch out with a new one. (no change)
I have changed out every fuse in the car with new ones. (no change)
I have changed out the tail light relay with a new one. (no change)
I have swaped out the dimmer relay with the one from my tocoma (same relay) (no change)
I have swaped out the DRL relay with the headlight relay on my tocoma (same relay) (no change)

Maybe the dash sensor (top left near windshield)?
Maybe a ground problem?

Any ideas ???
I have run out.

thanks

chuck
