Question Corolla Auto Transmission capacities??
I recently drained my son's '99 Corolla 4 speed automatic transmission. We replaced the fluid with 4 quarts of new fluid (Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF).

Is the total capacity of the transmission or is this only partial like the Tundra? I couldn't find an answer in the owners manual or my Haynes manual.

Do these transverse transmissions have torque converters?

There's absolutely a torque converter on that transmission.
