Cool Seatbelt warning!

Just got my new Corolla, had it for less than a week but the seatbeltwarning is drivning me crayzy!!!!!
Is it possible to turn it off?
I use it most of the time it's just that our mailbox is 250 m from the house on a private road and then there is a gate to stop for as well.

Default Seatbelt Annoyance!

Wife has an 05 Corolla. It does eventually shut up... I usually wear my seat belt, but if I get out of the car to get the mail, or just move the car... Too bad there isn't some way to reduce the time it makes noise.
