Default 1997 corolla check engine light reset
is there a way that i can short 2 connections in the diagnostic plug to reset the check engine light ?

You can use a code reader to erase the check engine light.

Disconnect the battery and it will reset, however if the diagnostic error code is triggered on your next start it will come back.

i have disconnected the battery , and it came on again , so that means there is a problem then eh?
