- remove the screw behind the door opening handle and slightly push the handle cousing toward the back (or front?) of the car and try to pull it out slightly, you will see a wire rod attached to it, you will need to pry the clip off the wire end so you can pull out (up) the wire from the handle cradle
- remove the visible "screw" head clips from the door panel and pull the door panel away from the door; there are a bunch of clips on the bottom of the panel.
- once the door panel is loose, pull it straight up to loosen from the lip holding it to the door right at the bottom of your window (top of the door panel)
- unplug the harness from your door power lock/window switch
That should do it.
The speaker is riveted to the door, you will need to drill out the rivets if removing the speakers.

Hey... yeh I'm also trying to swap out my speakers for some new ones. When you specify pulling up the arm rest, do you actually mean 'REMOVING' it? If so, how do you detach the clips from the arm rest? I spent like 30 minutes on it, and failed miserably. I can't see you being able to leave the arm rest attached if you are going to rescrew the door panel back on - it seems the clips get in the way.
Thanks
