Install of auto Dim mirror?

I have an 2005 Corolla S, with side air bags and want to install an auto dim mirror. I have bought one of the OEM ones and I am ready to go.
I read that it is not a good idea to install them on cars with side airbags, due to having to run the wires down the piller were the airbag is. But I am thinking about hooking up to the moon roof harness. It looks to have ACC, Power, and ground. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know why I should not hook up the mirror to this?

Yeah I did,
Forget the directions to route all those wires down the windshield post.
Waste of time.
I hooked everything up right there at the top.
That way the only interior you disassemble is the Maplight.
Two screws.
No big deal.
