I'm going to try Turtle Wax Ice for the first time today. I'm told that it it's the best product to use for a variety of reasons. One reason is that you can supposedly use it on every surface, including rubber, vinyl and plastic.
This will be a big change from waxing with other products where they left a white, chalky mess.
I think the best wax on the market at a reasonble price ($20.00) comes from a mailorder outfit called Autosport. It's 100% Brazilian canuba wax and it's best thing I've found since the old simonize disappeared from the market.
A lot of products out there have been remixed to not leave wax powder near rubber and plastic. I use Zaino but only certain products of theirs. I hear Malms is good also. There are a lot of threads about wax in the TS forum. You probably just need to try till you find what you like. I know one think, this beast is not a 1 hour job anymore with paste or liquid!
I have used Ice on mine works great. I now use Zainos which IMO is the best out there.

Anyone used it?
If you need high quality boutique brands, you'll have to go online. Maybe a bit more expensive at first, but worth every penny you spend in the long run with ease of use and durability. They dont leave chaulky residue, wipe on easy and wipe off even easier.
Synthetic is the key. You just cant get much durability out of a carnuba. They have their place, but durability is not one of their strong points. A quality synthetic will go months in between coats as where a carnuba will go weeks.
I wont even begin to argue which wax/sealant is best, everyone has their opinion and its best to use what you thinks looks best. But some of my favorites that are tried and true are: Zaino Z2/Z5, FK1 1000p, FK1 Pink wax, Klasse Twins (AIO/SG), Four Star PUPP (goes great with the twins), Prima Epic, One Thousand Grand, Wolfgangs, Einzettes Glanz wax, Menzerna. They all work great and most give a different look from each other.
Try the ice and tell us what you think. You may find it works great for you.
For a great write up on what works and doesnt work, do a quick Google search for "The Guru Wax Reports". All the top brands were tested and have a very detailed write up on how each one compared.
I spent the last two or three years using Zaino Z2 + ZFX and thinking I had among the best of waxes (Yes, I know Zaino is technically a polish) for appearance and longevity.
The I got to reading over at autopia forums what the *real* pros/fanatics/knowledgeable people use for unrivaled longevity and great (but not world class) appearance....It's Collinite.
Collinite #476s (also sold in a larger container as #885; same ingredients) blows away everything else in terms of longevity. There is also #845 which is a liquid Collinite wax almost as durable as the 476s/885 paste but easier to work with.
Those are my own findings. Try searching for topics at the autopia forums if you want see where I learned about it.
So far I've done one application of the #885 paste to my own car. The stuff takes a bit more muscle power to buff than most but the results look great and it beads water unlike anything I've ever seen.
I used the turtle wax ice on my radiant red tundra and whole i love it.. It leaves a deep wet shine look that is absolutley brilliant..I used the ice paste then after i applied that i used the ice detailer to help me remove the paste..I think you will be very happy with it, you can use it is direct sunlight even, and u can use it on the bak of your mirrors and bumpers... and my favorite part it wont leave that white residue.. Try it and let us know what you think..

I bought the "Ice" wax last week and used it yesterday. Worked great! I have some "after' pics in my gallery.
I went for the real test as advertised. Half of my truck was in the shade and the other was in the hot sun. The wax went on and came off just as easily on the hot parts as the shaded parts. It doesn't come off quite as easy as some other waxes I've used (not that it's difficult at all). The wax goes on clear and stays clear even after it's dried so you don't have that visceral effect of knowing exactly where you've buffed-no biggie though. The best method for me was to use two cloths-one in each hand (wax on, wax off daniel-son). I had the microfiber cloth that comes with the package in one hand for the initial wipe off and another-lambs wool style microfiber cloth to buff. Went really well after I figured that out.
The absolute best thing to me about this was Yotoya mentioned-the need to not wax around all the plastic. Not only did I not 'wax around'-I applied it straight to all the plastic! Works like a charm. I was VERY impressed by this. It put a very nice sheen on the plastic and, obviously, a wax coat that made it as slick as the painted surfaces.
Overall this is the best wax I've ever used. I've never tried any of the other brands that were listed in earlier posts, but for something I can buy most anywhere whenever I need it, this works for me. I'll have to give their 'liquid clay bar' a shot, too down the road when I need it.
Now--anyone know the best way to avoid and/or remove hard water spots? Terribly hard water where I'm from!

To remove your water spots clay the area very well. Use your shampoo as a lubricant and work the areas until your satisfied. For more stubborn spots, you'll need to polish the spots out with a good polish. Buying a PC is a great investment and you'll never look at detailing the same way again. A Porter Cable 7424 or 7336sp will cut your detailing time in half and achive much better results that you could ever get by hand. If they are bad enough that a PC cant get them out, you may need to wet sand the areas.
I finished waxing a couple hours ago and I'm very impressed with the Turtle Wax Ice.
The best part for sure is that you don't have to worry about the white, chalky mess on the non-metal parts. It doesn't wipe off quite as easy as some of the other brands I've tried, but you don't have to buff real hard either.
Great product and one I'll continue to use. I guess the durability will be wait-and-see.
I used the TW Ice today on my white CM. For the most part I was really impressed, especially with the armor-all type look it gives the plastic parts. Fastest, easiest wax I have ever done. Only problems with it is you can't see it, even after its dry (at least on a white truck you can't), which could be good or bad, depending on how lazy you are (and I'm pretty lazy). Also, it doesnt seem like a wax in the traditional sense; it has a very thin consistancy, and it almost seemed like I could have just left it on because it just wiped off like water.
I bought the liquid polish, anyone know what the difference is between that and the paste?
-Mike

went to autozone today to pick up ice car wash, ice polish, and ice detailer, a little pricey but bought it anyway. went to my dads house so he can help me detail my tundra. the bed was outside the garage to test out the polish since it claims you can wax under direct sun (it was hot in vegas whoooo). washed it with the ice wash, and it was already shiny . waxed it with the polish, waited around 4 minutes, then sprayed the deailer, then hand buffed it. i was pretty impressed with the final results, but i still wasn't that happy so i ended up using the detailer 2 more times lol. i really wanted my silver to blind people hehe.

Same here, Iced mine today as well, looks great and on/off with ease.
I did just the hood about a month ago, and it was still protecting well as of today, rewaxed it anyway.
