Brandon,

Looks like you found a way to keep your mind off of your ex for the time being. Hope everything works out for you. You should use SL550 AMG for pics for your website. You did a great job on all the vehicles especially the F350.

Kevin

You washed that F250 with kerosene? I would have never had the gonads to try that! It didn't screw up the topcoat?

No, gasoline will, kerosene has alot more oils in it. I only use it on these types of trucks, and dawn (only one time I will use it) afterwards to remove any kerosene oils.

It's about the only way to remove tar off trucks like these. I have done 6 of Nu-Tech's big dump trucks that were covered in asphalt, washed em' all with kerosene.

Brandon, what do you normally use to strip wax/polish off your truck? I've heard of people using a drop or two of dawn mixed in with their bucket of wash.

Dawn will work, but over time it is harsh on alot of car parts.

I just either clay, 50/50 alcohol and water, or polish, all will strip all wax off.

Ok...hope you guys don't mind another question.

I've use one brand and want to switch to Duragloss. I can either clay first or use #652 to remove the old product?

Thanks

Yeah, clay or #652 will remove old wax. I personally would use both. Clay will smooth the paint and get bonded contaminates off, the pre-cleaner will clean the paint and increase gloss. #105 will seal it all in with a tough top-cote.
