Default Duragloss PBA #601

Has anyone used this product and is the final outcome worth the additional effort? I'm getting ready to try out my new PC and am compiling a list of products to order. Seems most of the members have had luck with the Duragloss line of products. Sounds like a good starting point. I haven't run across any threads mentioning Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent. What is the general consensus? Waste of time and product or a must have item?

Honestly, it's not worth it. I used it on a truck the other day, didnt enhance the look, and i'll doubt it will enhance durability.

You are safe to slap on a coat of #105 or #111 and call it a day.

Thanks for the quick reply, Brandon. Getting ready to order from autogeek and was hoping for some input before doing so. Love this forum.

I don't think that PBA is supposed to enhance the looks, but as OP said enhance the durability of the polish applied after PBA.

I really wanted to apply DG PBA before #101 and #105, during my first detail right after buying the truck ,but I couldn't wait for Carquest to get the product over the weekend since I was going out of town.

now, with #101 applied and sealed with #105 and #951 on top of it, I don't see I would get the benefits of PBA during any detail job, unless I stripped off all the protection off the paint.

My experience with the Duragloss line is that it's so durable that I always end up
stripping it off and reapplying it before it needs it. Go with 101/105 and enjoy the shine.

I have never used #105 without #601 so I can't say whether it makes a difference. If Brandon1 says it doesn't do much then I would believe him. It's almost habit for me not to put it on but whatever. It only take a few minutes and you don't have to take it off to apply the #105. the most important things is DON'T FORGET THE AQUAWAX!!! That stuff is amazing!!
