Finished Detail Pics

Everything finally aligned, Products, weather and some free time. First detailing with the PC7424 and my new CCS Pads.

Products Used:
Mothers Claybar
Optimum Compound - for just a few scratches
Menzerna PO106FF - a.k.a. Nano Polish
Duragloss #105 Sealant
DP MAXX WAX - goes on like melted butter and wipes off really easy
Duragloss Aquawax - Touch ups and all windows
303 Aerospace protectant on all the rubber, plastic vinyl.

Brandon thanks for the tips on the MAXX Wax! That combined with the Menzerna really made the metallic pearl pop out of the paint.

It's going to be in the 70's the rest of the week, with a possibility of showers tomorrow - of course

. I'll let the sun bake the Maxx Wax until next week, give her another bath, and try a second coat to see if I can get a little wetter look. I'll have a tough test detail lined up hopefully soon. This will be a true test of the products and the PC, with before and after pics on a neglected, oxidized burgundy '96 Geo Prizm.

Looks great man, I've got that same color, and that is every bit as good as my paint.

The PO106FF is a great polish, *the* wettest and clearest polish available IMO.

I used 303 Protectant on the tires with a tire dressing applicator. I previously used Meguiar's Endurance gel. But, if you don't do a wipe down it's a little too shiny and can sling very easily without several hours cure time. It can also be a bugger to clean the tires during the next wash if it's applied too thick.

Endurance gel and the like doesn't look bad on lower profile tires or "banana skins" on a sports car, but with that much sidewall, on a truck tire, it looks wrong for lack of a better term.

Couldnt of said it better myself. I like the matte finish look you got with the 303. Again, beautiful job.
