Default Your thoughts on "Liquid Glass" Car Polish

Yep its that time again to start the detailing process. I have always used Mequiars products with good results. Also have read up on the Klasse products but reviews say its not great for dark paint ( I have Slate Metallic). The day I bought my truck I gave it a liberal coat of Mequiars NXT synthetic wax and have added a few coats since. Looks great but doesnt seem to hold up but for a few washings.

Lately I have read up on Liquid Glass. Anybody have experience with this one or is there a different/better alternative?

I havent used it on base clear but it works great on single stage finishes. seems to be a good polish but doesnt protect much.

I tried it a few times when it was petro based. Not all that & not really worth the work I put into it.

Stick with the synthetic stuff...a lot less headache. If I had to start over, I'd go Duragloss from the local NAPA instead of Klasse off the net. Cheaper & no postage woes.

Yeah, I like Duragloss. Use #101/#105 and it's cheaper and easier to use than LG. Looks much better as well, LG is sorta stale to me IMO.

Is Duragloss available at your local Auto Parts store? I'm not sure I've ever seen it.

NAPA or Carquests have it. You can go to Duragloss Car Care Products and pull up your closest distributor.

That explains it. I do almost all my business with Auto Zone, or Advanced Auto Parts.

Liquid Glass to me has decent durability, very stale looks, and a horrible smell. We used to use it on all of our farm equipment, and IMO, that's where it's staying.
