DetailingGeneral discussion forum for detailing your vehicle.
This is a discussion thread titled "Detailed my '07 Tundra Crewmax.", within the Detailing forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
I worked on myx brand new '07 Toyota Crewmax. 900 miles on the clock, so the truck's in great shape.
The plan was a real good wash, followed by some Menz PO85rd, and a couple coats of Jetseal 109.
All was going well, till I decided to get a little crazy and put on some Swissvax Smaragd on the hood. Yes the truck sits outside, yes, I shouldn't have put it on top of JS109, but I just wanted too!!
Well, SV on top of Jetseal looks absoultly astounding.
Process was:
Adams Car was (Vroom foam gun - garbage), and standard wash.
Swissvax Paint Rubber
Mothers QD for lube.
Menz PO85rd on the Flex with LC white, speed 5.
Menz Top Inspection.
Jetseal 109 on the Flex with LC gray, speed 1.
Swissvax Smaragd on the hood.
After Pics:
The hood is simply stunning in person. The pop is amazing. The camera just doesn't do it justice. I'm anxious to see how the SV holds up outside...
I got all of my products from Phil over at Detailers Domain. GREAT guy/company.
Thats awesome, nice to see another detailer on here.
And since you are the new guy here, that means you have to send me some Swissvax
Thanks. I spend a lot of time on Detailingbliss. Very nice smaller detailing website.
I don't have a lot of SV products, but it's growing. Smargd (Best of Show), Wheel Brush, Autobahn, Paint Rubber, and the Cleaning Fluid. If you were closer I would share!

I've been thinking of trying to start a detailers swap group for TS. Give some of us a chance to try out new products and introduce some of our favorites to others. If theres anything youre interested in sharing/trading, let me know.
God, thats about the millionth thing i've forgotten about this month, detailers swap.
I'll get on it within the next 30yrs lol
haha, no worries, I know youre busy, but we should try and get something up and running with summer right around the corner (in my case, already here).
