But I never put anything on my Dash Pad. MicroFiber and dampened with water only. I like a real MATT looking dash.
The sun glare from these protectants is a bad thing by itself. Very distracting.
303 is very a good alternative for UV protection alone . But I would not overuse use it too frequently on the dash pad. It will build up a suttle sheen at some point. From experience.
I just don't like any reflection from my dash. I'm anal that way.
I've been using 303 on my dash for a year now, about twice a month. I have no problem with build up of any kind or glare/reflection. I also clean the dash before reapplying the 303. Its an A+ product IMO.

I was using mothers on the outside of the truck and son of a gun on the inside. I found a system I like alot better. The ICE by turtle wax. I don't know how good it is yet. I just started using it, but I like the smell for the inside and it is not a gloss finish but a matt and I like that. The outside there is a wax and a spray detailer. I waxed it a week ago and now I use the spray detail to keep it up. Has anyone else used the ICE items.
I've tried the Ice car wash and I thought it was pretty good.

I've used them, and they are actually pretty decent. The ICE paste is better than the liquid, and the Liquid Clay bar does not do what it says, but it's just fun to use anyway lol.
BUT, there are much much better offerings online from places such as www.autogeek.net

I wouldn't use any of the ICE stuff for the exterior, but I did try the ICE interior paste. That seems to work pretty well. Normally, I like the dash to be shiny, whereas this leaves the dash just clean. The dash seems to be more dust-free than usual, and it does have a real pleasant smell.
second, I know this is off topic. But after reading your post regarding detailing cars, i am trying to buy a SHOPVAC and walmart has so many models. Some are 2 hp, 2.5, 3, 4, which is good. I don't do alot around the house except of the car and what ever liquid mess i made.

Umm, get the biggest shop vac you can afford. You wont ever have to much power, but if you dont have enough, you will wish you want more. I have a 5hp and love it.

tried Michelin 3-1 Tire Shine on my dash and interior panels and it was so shinny that i had to wipe off some of it and it does not evaporate fast at all. It hangs around for way longer time that AA. 1/2 price of 303 not sure how it stands up to 303? Pylon does not say a lot about the products composition but it goes much further compared to AA to me! Pylon Manufacturing Corporation
i have been using this product for a while now and AA is history, this stuff stays around longer than most products i have seen and it's amazing how little ya need on interior dash panels! Some kind of polymer formula base? here in NM the sun will ruin a dash in no time with or without protection, windscreen shades a MUST!! https://host8.successfulhosting.com/...me.php?cat=294 this is where i purchase it and the only place you can get it! wheel cleaner does not last as long as tire shine so i always get more wheel cleaner, keeps me from using too much elbow grease! tire shine goes a long way. If ya get over 50 bucks shippin is free!
