Default spilled paint in the bed

I dont know if this is the right place to put this, But it has to do with cleaning my truck. Well I let a neighbor borrow some back paint and told him to leave it in the bed of my truck when he finished. Well he didnt close the lid all the way and spilled about 3/4 of a gallon in the bed. Its been sitting there for about 2 weeks and I went to take out the extension cord that was caked with paint and tore up some paint with it. So its still not completely dry. Ive been wanting to wash my truck but Im scared that mixing water with some of that wet paint will cause it to stain my rear bumper when it flows out. Any one have any advice as to how I can either scrape this paint off or should I just let it dry completely. Ohh and I have a spray in bed liner. thanks in advance.

Honestly, i'd either let it dry and scrape it up, or tape up EVERYTHING that will come in contact with the paint and use some paint thinner to remove the paint.

hmm i might just do that. Put some old towels around and use some thinner and tons of rags to get it off. thanks Brandon. I would have never thought of that. it would be easier than having to scrape it off.

Did you confront your neighbor about not putting the lid on tight?Maybe he can help clean it up.
