Default Mirror weep holes

Figured this might be a good place to start with this post. I'm sick and tired of all of the excess water that comes flowing out of my non tow mirrors while driving down the road on my 08 DC after I detail it. I've used the leaf blower method twice now with no perfect result.

So this leads me to my questions...Seriously, has anyone drilled out the weep holes on the underneath of each mirror to a slightly larger size? Or maybe multiple holes? Does anyone see that it could be a potential problem if you do?

Thanks

Give it a shot! I too am sick of all the water that comes out of the mirrors. That and the plastic insert just above the grill. I don't see any problems with making the weep hole bigger.
