RCBS is on a distinguished road.
Default Stained '08 superwhite Tundra

my buddy just bought an 08 tundra off road in super white. he didn't notice before he got it home that it had about 100 small bits of tree sap in the bed, on the roof, and a few on the hood. seems the dealer left it parked under the only tree on the lot for about two months and the sap has actually stained the paint. i have tried clay bars and two different paint cleaners and cannot get them to come up. is it possible that the sap, while baking for two months has actually penetrated the clear coat? any ideas on getting it off/out other than a respray? the dealer wanted to send it to a body shop, but my buddy wouldn't let them. he got a free line-x job instead. ideas & input appreciated.

You may need something such as 3M adhesive remover to get the job done. Then re-clay, and polish with something like a paint compound, then polish, then seal.
