This is a discussion thread titled "Great starter kit for detailers!!!", within the Detailing forum, part of the Technical & Vehicle Assistance Forums category.
Man I hate shifting buisness from autogeek, but this bucket is amazing! If you have a Costco local to you and need a great way to begin a awesome detailing regimine, then this is the product for you...
This thing has everything. Proper wash media, clay, swirl remover, an awesome wax, tire dressing, interior dressing, cleaner, wax, microfibers lol. It's all rebadged Chemical Guys stuff, which is good stuff to begin with.
I will be contacting the company for a review on the product shortly.

I read your excellent post on detailing and was about to order a porter cable 7424 today from autogeek and get the starter kit with the associated pads. Do you recommend I still get this kit and then get the Jorgen's kit you mention and use their products with the Porter Cable? I am a newbie to the detailing world so your help is appreciated. Thanks, Dave
Honestly, i'd probably just go ahead and order the kit and the comperable stuff from autogeek. I mentioned this kit for people that dont want to order online and who have literally *nothing* to start with for detailing tools, etc.
I'd get the kit, some polishes, a sealant and wax, then the proper towels/wash/buffing accessories.
