Default Brandon, and others...black moulding question

hey, I have my little project neon that im building for the bro in law and its at the paint shop right now. my problem is the rubber window belt mouldings on this car....they have always for the past several years, rubbed black off on your hands if you even so much as slightly touch them....i have tried wiping them down with various things and each pass makes the rag just as black as the last...im wanting to get this issue resolved so i can reinstall all my trim and not have any black rubbing no more...what should i use on them to get rid of this black mess? they arent chalky looking and are in good shape, no dryrot or anything so i cant see spending big bucks to replace them...i want to throw them in the dishwasher and see if it knocks some of it off of it hahaha..

suggestions....

Maybe start by giving it a good cleaning with 303 cleaner or something similar and a pad to clean off all the gook. Lastly I would keep it treated and conditioned with something like Einszettes Gummi Pflege. Gummi works great on rubber trim and door seals. Comes in a super easy to apply foam tip bottle.

1Z Einszett Rubber Protection "Gummi Pflege" 100 ml

ok i think i won this time around...i took them to the carwash with me when i went to wash the boat (that was covered in body filler/primer sanding dust from working on this neon in the same garage...oops), anyway, i sprayed them down with degreaser then took the high pressure wand and sprayed the crap out of them up close. it was like black water spraying off them. i did that until the water ran clear and then wiped them down with some 3M adhesive remover stuff and now i can touch them and nothing rubs off...gonna dress them all up with some good rubber dressing before they go back on so i hope thats the end of the black rubbing off on the hands issue...
