Just wanted to share my experiences with Forever Black bumper and trim restorer. I applied the forever black to the grey plastic on top of the bumper on my 06 DC in hopes of making it black. Well it did and man it looked good! However as all good things must come to an end the dye started to flake off after about 3 weeks. I am unsure if I did something wrong in preperation or if the stuff is crap. I went ahead and removed it with denatured alcohol so its back to normal again. Has anyone out there had success with it? My next step is to try a spray paint specifically formulated for plastic trim from SEM coatings. BTW the forever black tire dye didnt hold up either.

Funny you should mention this. I was just looking at this and was wondering if anyone had any luck with it. If I had to guess, the product you tried is probably very similar to this one. I suppose if you followed their directions and still had poor results, it was nothing you did. Can you provide a link to the product that you are considering trying next? Thanks.

I was also just looking at this. I was intrigued until the information on the product alluded to that the application was very temporary.
