carpet brush attachment

I have a makita rotary polisher (9227 I believe) and I'm looking for a carpet brush that attaches to the spindle. About 10 yrs ago we had one at the shop and worked wonders scrubbing nasty stains out of carpets. It was about 6 inches in diameter, about 3/4" wood base and about 3/4" black bristles and had a thraeded hole in the center where it attached to the makita. I can't seem to find one anywhere online or locally. Anybody know where I can find one?
