Keep up on the vehicles and this is perplexing me. I think it's fly S**t stains on the clear coat. I've tried vinegar, clorox on a q-tip and even scratching with the edge of a razor blade but to no avail they just won't come out. They were raised and I could "knock" off the little pile of s**t but this is what remained. Anyone else ever seen these?
Thanks for the replies guys. I have used both clay followed by clearcoat polish applied with power polisher with no results. These showed up after detailing and are only on pass side. I didn't even drive it to get it dirty. Think on it.

Good chance that what you have on your paint is what is called "shotgun fungus spores"
Here is a little write-up on it: .... The shotgun or artillery fungus (Sphaerobolus) may cause serious problems. While it decays the mulch, it also produces fruiting structures that resemble tiny cream or orange-brown cups that hold a spore mass resembling a tiny black egg (1/10 inch in diameter). This fungus shoots these spore masses high into the air. They stick to any surface and resemble small tar spots on leaves of plants or the siding of homes (Fig. 1). They are difficult to remove, leave stained surfaces, and may result in major damage...
I see those allot, but have yet found a effective way to remove them. You can try adhesive remover, or even some laquer thinner. Rubbing a small amount of kerosene on the area may work as well. Re-wax asap after this.

I have been fighting this for 2 summers now. I finally called a tree expert (thought it was my cedar trees)....and he told me it was this fungus in my mulch. He was right. (Explains why it was on the underside of stuff also)
They say the spores can be fired up to 6 METERS in the air. It's called "natures super glue". Nothing takes it off. I had to wet sand my jeep. Even if you don't have mulch....your neighbor might ......
Anyway, I ended up removing all my mulch from the entire yard (6 yards worth) ....and it stopped. NO MORE MULCH FOR ME @#%!#$^@#
What a fountain of information. I'll go with the spores as the truck was parked no more than 5 feet. I'll try to remove with sticky tape, solvent, etc. I will advise. Thanks to all for the replies.

WTF!! Mold spores?? With everything else that could possibly get on our vehicles, who would have thought that something we use in our yards to make them look nice would now get on our trucks... Good luck with that one brother...
