It had been over a year since my last detail on the truck. Sure I have put on the odd coat of wax/sealant, and clayed once and hit it with 151 once or twice, but the paint was in pretty bad shape considering who the truck is owned by. Swirls, water spotting, contamination, hazing, scratches, it was all there. The undercarriage had not been touched in over a year and a half, the carpet was getting filthy and the wheels were in sad sad shape. Who knew I would let the truck get this bad, but I guess that is what NCSU does to a person, screws up everything. This weekend was time to change all that.
My truck has had many looks over the years, with this look being purely out of necessity. I was tired of small tires, or overly huge tires, both rode bad and were expensive. The bed rails and step bars were also removed due to excessive wear, and now the truck is much easier to clean, plus the UWS Toolbox helps me keep some of my detailing materials dry.

I don't know how you do it .. ?? ...
i would think that you could make a fortune doing .. Barrett-Jackson .. types shows or being a "detailing bossman" at a major car refurbing or restoring company.

If you or a relative is in the US Military ... make sure you get ALL important info. (injuries & medical treatments) documented in your SMRs.
(Service Medical Records).
ALWAYS keep a COMPLETE copy of those SMRs in a secure place that you can access.
This is super important later when a "claims issue" or etc. arises.

Brandon - Do you put the car on a rack to clean the undercarriage? I would think that you spend as much time underneath as you do on the rest of the exterior.

I'm so jealous of your truck. I never would have guessed your tundra had 100K. It looks better then when truck was on the showroom floor.
I would love to own your tundra.

I have the same engine you have and also the exact same rims.....My truck is 4 x 4 and I was thinking about getting some AT tires but the price for AT tires for 20" rims are extremely high!!! How do you like those tires on your truck? Do they do well in the mud?
Re: Showroom Shined- 100,000 mile Toyota Tundra Detail
What I can't figure out is how you've got a truck with that many miles and I don't see any rock chips in the front end. My truck just flipped 72,500 and the front end is chipped all to hell!! Drives me nuts to clean the front and have to look at all the little chips.
