Default Need some advice

Well, I am looking for some advice on a paint finish issue. I had a bed liner put into the truck and there was some overspray. The liner company said to use a solvent like acetone or xylanol to remove it, which I did. The problem is that the areas that were wiped with the solvent seem like they have lost their clear coat? Not sure what exactly to do to restore the shine in those areas. Any suggestions?

Help me understand what you mean by lost their clear coat? I dont think this is possible with them wiping with just acetone, but then again, a bedliner shop may not know the right way to clean it off.

Is it just duller than the rest of the truck? If so, you need to hit it with a polish like Klasse AIO and then re-wax.

Yeah, like Brandon said, if its just a little cloudy compared to the surrounding areas then a light cleaner/polish should quickly restore it. I get this often when I use 1Z Acrysol to clean away heavy residue before polishing. Cleans right up in a jiffy.
