Question New 2010 Tundra - first detailing

Just picked up my new DC 5.7L on Monday.

Thanks for any hints for this newbie and all the great info in this forum. I have already learned a lot, but I was wondering what the experts here would recommend as the steps they would use for the first cleaning and detailing.

Do I need to use a paint cleaner? Just polish and wax?

I am going to say I have never done real detailing, just a wash and wax on previous vehicles. Want to get started right with this beautiful truck.

Congrats on the new truck.

For a brand new truck you'd most likely be fine with a wash/clay, Klasse AIO and then a final sealant. Klasse AIO goes on and off extremely easy by hand, but for best results use with a PC and a white pad, PC on 4.

Nows a great time to invest in a PC and some microfiber towels and make this job much much easier.

Well I had a chance to give it a wash the other day. Did a good inspection of the paint surface after it's bath and did not see any stains or feel any roughness. So I decided to just apply some Meguiars NXT 2.0.

I think it came out looking pretty good. I will be ordering some of the Klasse products very soon.
