Anybody got a good cleaner that can take out blood stains from the interior? I did a search and didn't find anything so I guess I'll be the first to ask.
Are we talking "I cut my finger and it dripped" or "I have no clue what happened to her officer, did they really find her decapitated? I haven't seen her in a couple weeks" kinda blood? Download the autopia guide to detailing here http://www.autopia-carcare.com/how-to.html I use Natures Miracle (from local pet store) it's an enzyme based cleaner that breaks down all sorts of crazy stuff (milk, baby formula, blood, cat urine, vomit etc.)
I second the Nature's Miracle. Stuff rules for all biological stains/odors.

No no no no. It was more like "I crashed my ATV and I can't stop the bleeding" kind of blood. With a little bit of "Couldn't stop the bleeding for two hours" mixed with "needed to get to the hospital fast". Now I got bruises the size of footballs all over my body.
You should have seen me. I thought I stopped the blood from flowing so I went into a store to buy some food. Everyone was staring at me and I was thinking "Damn I'm not hurt that bad what's going on?" Little did I know the bleeding started up again and it looked like a vampire bit me. Drove my self to the emergency room to get stiched up. I wasn't thinking and I should have drove with the windows up because the wind blew the blood all over the place. You should have seen the face of the guy in the parking lot. "Son you can't park here.........OH $H!T!!!!!!" But they still made me wait an hour before the stiched me up.
Wouldn't that remove the color from the material? I was thinking if it can turn hair a different color it will probably do that to my interior.

I use the armorall oxy stuff. it got my "D@mn the sharp edges on the rx7, need 4 butterfly's" blood.
I've tried that. It works pretty good too. When it comes in contact with the blood it starts to foam up. At least you can see those oxygen bubbles working the stain. Used a tooth brush as well to work on the stains. The blood was only on there for about a day. Right after I got up in the afternoon I started cleaning it. Don't know how well it would work with old blood though.

Guess that would depend on the material the hospital uses it. I would test a small area before using it on the truck. The better half has used it on most surfaces in the house including the carpets with no ill effects when someone pulls a Tim Taylor or one of the kids runs thru with a bloody nose.

mine had been on the seat and carpet for 2 weeks...
Oxy stuff works great. I do detail work on the side and it gets out almost anything including blood. Just take in consideration, It may still bleed through your interior so you might want to take the seat covers off and clean as nuch from the foam as possible. Blood isnt as bad as as a coffe stain for bleeding through.

NO!!! That stuff can "bleach" materials and damage them. I'd ONLY use it in a last ditch effort.
As for cleaning blood, remember you can never clean it all up. The police have ways of finding it. As for a bit of advice, next time haul them in the BACK of your truck... ;-)
LOL! Hearing that story makes you sound like an "almost there" attempt for a Darwin Award winner. My Mom broke her back rolling down a hill, with an ATV on top of her, when we went riding when she (and my brother and I) were younger. She didn't even go to the Emergency Room for it.
