Crap, silicone based and very greasy.

Like I said, 303 or Megs Quick Interior Detailer is the only thing that touches my interior.

Brandon1, which model of the Little Green Machine do you use? I'm going to buy one, should I buy one with a heater?

You can buy a heater model and that one works better, but I have a normal one that is about 16yrs old that I use.

I actually dont use it that terribly much, I dont have many people that pay for a full interior/exterior cleaning of that degree. Most people just opt for floor mat cleaning and such.

Whenever i use stuff on my dashboard, it seems to collect dust very quick. Lately i have been getting a damp rag, and just wiping all the dust off everything. And the dust seems to stay off for a while. Is it bad to do this???

Nah, you are just fine.

FWIW, I use Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer, wont attract dust, and still get UV protection.

Thanks Brandon ! very nice and helpful thread .
I have 2 quick questions:

1. How do you clean and keep leather seats soft and new looking ? ( Been using LEXOL cleaner then conditioner so far )

2. is Armor All better then VINYLEX ? for plastic surfaces and dash ?

1. I use 303 on seats

2. Armor All is fine, I cut it 70/30 with water. It leaves a nice look. If given the choice and if cost wasent an issue, i'd go with 303 on everything. Its just an awesome product.

I just bought a 2002 Sequoia from a lady that, even though kept the vehicle mechanically sound, did not take good care of the interior. Everything is pretty disgusting. There is make-up on the sterring wheel, marks on the kick panel and dash, spilled drink on the console, unconditioned leather seats and dirty carpet. Would you still go through the steps above or would you try to clean everything with soap and water and maybe goo-gone for the marks?

Thanks.
