Default Dash Light Replacements

For anyone still looking for colored #74 bulbs I think I found a source for you. I ordered some (they aren't cheap) but they sound like the right bulb. The company's web site is Lightlens.com and they have Blue, Green, Purple and Red colors at $10.80 for a pack of two bulbs. Again, not cheap but maybe better than trying to make your own. I'll let you know how (and if) they work when I get them.

Note: Please see 12/21 update before you order anything from this company.

This is from the sequoia board but it might work too:

INFO:
The bulbs on the gauge cluster (5), center dash console (10), ring on the key (1) and lighter (1), and other bulb that I didn't have time to check yet are using a silicon colored bulb cover and they are cheap. They can be purchase at www.mcmaster.com and they have 5 different locations in the US. At there website, do a search (light bulb cover), you will be pointed to page 597 on the catalog, scroll down almost to the bottom page says "Colored Light Bulb Covers". On the gauge cluster you use the T1 3/4 covers and the rest are T1. Good luck and let me know.

I decided to use the blue silicon bulb cover and customized the gauge cluster bulb to adapt those mini hyper white bulbs, but you can use those bulb cover for gauge cluster bulb as well. I'm just doing the hardway. I run out of silicon bulb covers and will just drive to mcmaster to get more.

COST:
T1 = $ 3.33 and T1 3/4 = $4.44
Each bag contains 10 pcs. of the silicon bulb covers.
Need Suggestion: Gauge Cluster Light
