So here it goes I installed my plug and play kit today, very easy btw. I tested each bulb as I did the install no problemo. Well when the install was done I noticed one side would come on dim flicker and turn off other side no problem. It would do this several times in a row then later perfect no problems the same side would do this and not the other. Has anybody experinced this? Is it the bulb or ballast? ( I think its the ballast)
Swap the bulbs around. If it still flickers you probably have a ballast problem. Are there relays or seperate grounds for each ballast? Swap the relays to verify those are good too.
Am going to swap bulbs around this weekend see what happens. And I got one of those plug and play no relay harness needed (yeah right) kit. I think even if I dont get any more problems am goin to ditch this kit and go with one that has the harness and a halogen hi-beam, I dont really like the idea if I hit the switch lights out. Thanx for replys guys....
I got hid on my truck for me it was the accual connection wat I did is I took the plug out and just wired them u know black to green white to white

If you're talking about the kit with the tiny halogen bulb as the highbeam, don't bother, there's just not enough light output. I'd keep the current HID kit and put together a harness.
I got the kit on loan it was from one of my vendors he said if I dont like it I could return it no charge. Not to happy with it acting funny right after it being installed. It won't take me long to remove so no biggie. I figure not much light output from the halogen, but I really don't like that when I hit the switch my lights cut out I kinda look at it as a back up if something goes wrong with HIDs. Unless you can tell me that it is less of a quality HID bulb cause of the built in hi-beam.
See now here is my problem on my 07 camry. Got the HID's installed. And i like my lights in auto mode. When it gets dark they turn on automaticlly before i got the HID. Now that i got them, during day time and i pull in our parking structure, they go on automaticlly. But at night if i turn the car on they flicker and wont go on. I have to turn my light switch on manually to turn them on. So what seems to be the problem. Ballast or bulb?

I think it has something to do with the daytime running lights(D.R.L.) I belive you have to disable it. Not sure how to do that as my seq. does not have that feature. BTW how did you like the color and output of the 6000K bulbs?
hey everyone, im new here, but i see that most of you have the same question about the car lights flickering.... i just bought my HID, i realice that i dont have a relay so i call the company and told me that i dont need a relay, i went over the internet to see what the relay does. i found out that most cars that uses DRL or Day Running Light will need a relay on order for you car to work properly without flickering... i havent install my HID for tha same reason that my toyota corolla has DRL.... so if you car is having a flickering uninstall the HID put the one you had before, buy a relay that matches you bulb size once you get it install the HID with the relay. you car should be good by doing that. if you car doesnt have DRL it should be no problem installing the HID without the relay. if for some reason you car is flcikering even doe you dont have DRL then you will need a relay!

Toyota Auto Mode light has a sensor locate on dash it change the current output to the the headlights according to light sensor. In this case your HID light will not work properly WITHOUT a external relay, you can purchase a relay kit on internet or if you know how relay work you can go buy a general purpuse relay from electronic store and wired it your self. That is what I did to my 05 Corolla XRS it has the same problem cost me only 5 dollars for a relay and my HID works normally like OEM lights regardless what mode i set it as long the Head light ECU turned on I get full voltage from battery. If you interested email me I will show you how to wired headlight relay.
