Default Anybody ever install a Bulldog remote start?

I purchased the T-harness with the remote start. Anybody ever install one of these? Know where to get wiring diagrams for the 2000 Tundra?

yes i did. works ok. it is recomended that you hook it up to the tach connection.(this is to get it to crank long enough) i connected mine to the bulldog factory setting that records the current out put ,sometimes it starts to fire and stops cranking, and the truck shuts down. if you go to the bull dog web site it will tell you all the connections.

Default answer to "what is a remote start"?

It is a device like keyless entry that allows you to not only have keyless entry but gives you a way to start your truck from a distance (inside house etc...). I think I may be able to find the 2000 tundra wiring diagram from a Chiltons book.

Don't think Chilton has a book out yet, Haymes has a new one out, check out the Tundra forum threads, there's a thread with an order link..

Default Anybody ever have trouble with the keyless entry working right?

Yes Chilton's has a book out that covers up to and through 2000 Tundra. It has all wiring diagrams and vacume diagrams. the whole thing went in great except for the keyless entry wont work when the door is closed(when you actually NEED it to work) open the door and it works fine. Any expertise with this would be greatly appreciated!!
