Default solidwiring.com question

looking at purchasing a wiring setup from them so I can have complete and independent control of the fog lights. for those of you who have installed these harnesses, do you have to splice into wires or is it all just plugs so it can be reversed within minutes?

Default Re: solidwiring.com question

My 07 Tundra came with those ugly black fog caps. I just bought a nice set of aftermarkets(I did my homework first on size and fit) then just cut out the space I needed in the caps and fabricatred my own flat mounting bracket to attach the lights to the factory bracket. It wasn't super easy but it looks as good as stock and I control when my foggers are on. Any do-it-yourselfer can take a few pieces of flat steel or sturdy aluminum and fab out the bracket it all really depends on what light kit you purchase and how they mount up. Hit me back if you need help I'll give ya what I can.

I already have the factory fog lights, just want to be able to control them independent of the parking lights, low beams, and high beams. Right now they only work with the low beams. I want to be able to turn the fogs on without any other lights, or just with parking, and with low and/or high.
