window module... somebody gotta know....

I have installed alarm and everything works great except the window module.
With the dei530t my window goes up fine but down it seems to only want to vent only moving a couple inches with each button push. now i put in an auto loc module and it rolls up and down fine, but no vent. i wan te vent mode.

I grounded and power at battery. installer friends lost... dei no help... come on someone has to have a fix

I have the Viper 5900 and I wanted the remote window controller but I was told by the salesman that they were problematic and he didn't recommend it.He installed them in his truck and had problems.

Do you have a schematic of the Y-harness used for the alarm. Find the correct pairs and check for continuity both ways with a DMM.

Could be a bad connection/connector or defective alarm unit.

You could also try disconnecting the alarm and plug the factory harness connectors back to the original config. (to rule out the alarm)

i have connected/ reconnected everyghing and have used a couple different 530t modules. the auto loc module works but just goes up or down, no venting. dei module just vents and you have to keep puhing to get it to go down

well i have some that work just not quite the way i want.... they roll up and down fine just will not vent
