Trailer light problem

I have a 2002 Tundra with the 4 way trailer connection. All of the lights on the trailer were working fine the other day, and then all of a sudden some weird stuff started to happen. All of the trailer light functions perform fine when my headlights are off, but when I turn my headlights on, only one of the trailer blinkers works and only one of the trailer running lights works. Any ideas as to what the issue is?
