Default Sucessful Fog Light Mod

Just completed the fog light mod on my 2001 Tundra from instructions found on this forum. And it was very simple and straightforward.

I had previously made up my own heavy duty headlamp harness from components purchased from Daniel Stern. Headlamp performance is a huge improvement especially the high beams using 65/70 watt Osram Super Bright bulbs. However when the fog lights were turned on while on low beam the high beams came on. In other words the fogs were on plus low beam and high beam. The area in front of my truck looked like an LZ.

Now the fog lights will work with the parking lights, low beam and/or high beam. This was a simple mod with just locating the power wire (red with yellow tracer) from the fog light switch, cutting it and then splicing it into the green wire to the dash light dimmer switch.

I searched through many threads and this one seemed to be the simplest for my application. I found this in a post by nhparrot so many thanks Glenn. It works as advertised.
