Default Dual alternators on 1st gen

Is it possible? Do you think there is room for another factory 130A alternator? I know toyota has a patent on their alternators so there are very few aftermarket h.o. alternators... this wouldnt interfere with running dual alternators would it?

Im planning on getting a used alternator on ebay for under 100 and have a shop fabricate a bracket and hook everything up...

hi, i have looked into this heavyly. i also contacted each and every company out there. and have talked to every compnay and alt. person i could.
there is no room to do a double alt. set up.
i have the 150 amp sequoia alt. gives you another 20 amps.
if you can do it, great. i had everyone look into building a HO alt. it can not be done. denso & toyota use's i forget the name of it, off hand, but it can't be messed with.
as far as you mounting 2, i highly doubt it. but again you never know, good luck,
gorilla
