Question 2006 DC wire colors
I'm hooking up a new Kenwood DNX5120 HU with a rear view camera. There's a wire to be connected to the reverse light wire. The 06 DC wiring diagram I have shows this wire to be red with a black stripe. Others have mentioned this color combination in other threads. After disassembling the rear light housing, I discovered that the wire running to the backup light is actually red with a blue stripe. Anyone know what's up with that? Did Toyota change the wire colors for late production DC's? Mine was built 09/06.
